Steamed Zucchini

STEAMED ZUCCHINI

Ingredients

  • 3-4 zucchinis
  • an onion
  • dill weed
  • olive oil or butter

Instructions

  • Cut the onion in half so that the rings are going to be in half-circles.
  • Turn them onto the flat side and slice into wedges.
  • Top and tail zucchinis and slice them in half. Then the halves in half.
  • Put first the onions, then the zucchinis in to a steamer.
  • Lightly sprinkle with dill weed and salt.
  • Steam until just tender. (Maybe 10 minutes?)
  • Remove from steam and, while still hot, toss with either butter or olive oil. Salt & pepper to taste.
